Ledger Live — Getting Up To Your Device

Ledger Live is the companion app for Ledger hardware wallets (Nano S, Nano S Plus, Nano X). It allows you to manage your crypto securely. This guide walks you step by step from setup to safe transactions.

Before You Start

Check you have an official, sealed Ledger device.
Use only authorized sellers. Avoid second-hand devices.

1. Install Ledger Live

Download Ledger Live from the official site.
Install it on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, or iOS.

2. Initialize Your Device

Create new: set a PIN and write down your 24 words.

3. Connect & unlock device.
4. Verify address on device screen.
5. Share only if it matches.

6. Send Crypto

Create the transaction in Ledger Live and confirm on the device. Always check the amount and address on the device screen.

8. Troubleshooting

Device not detected: try new cable/port, unlock device, restart app/PC.
